Donations are a big part of our income and we rely on people’s generosity and
goodwill in giving to the Friday Night Project to help us support adults with learning
disabilities for a social club and café, helping to support them with employment.
Every person with a learning disability is an individual who has wishes and rights
for employment and all donations help to achieve this and helps them to feel a
valuable member of our community.
Why will people want to donate to us?
- Focus this year will be to reduce the waiting list of people with learning disabilities looking for employment
- Promotes diversity and equal opportunities, ensures people feel valued and creates self-esteem
- Donations will generate income to people with learning disabilities who wish to gain work experience
- All donations are used for wages to club members who work or wish to work within the project and helps with expenditure for Social Club, outgoings and events
- No donated monies will be used for staffing the project as all administration and staffing is provided by N.S.O and volunteers
- FNP rely on the generosity of its donors to support the project
