Leisure Plus Project

This project is based on supporting people with a learning disability from the age of 16 upwards.
These activities can be anything from swimming, playing pool or just going to the pub,

shopping, having a coffee, dancing or going for a walk, or in fact any activity or hobby.
Wokingham Mencap Leisure plus project also run monthly and weekly weeks, such
as Karaoke and Games nights, plus a fitness group.
The aim of this project is to help people with a learning disability enjoy activities
that they are unable to access without the help of a volunteer.
This gives the carers some respite time and gives the learning disables person on
opportunity to enjoy a new leisure activity.
Dates And Times Of Groups
The fitness group FLASH runs term time Tuesday/Friday at East park farm Charvil
centre 2pm to 4pm. Thursday every week including school holidays 2pm to 4pm.
Karaoke Dates (at Rose Street, Methodist Church, Wokingham)
