Jeanette Birt |

Project co-ordinator started up the Friday Night
Project on 25th February 2005. When it was first
started there were 23 members, now we have over
250 members. Jeanette Birt has been working with
adults with learning disabilities for 7 years. Jeanette
feels very passionate about this project, and puts a
lot of time and effort into making the Friday Night
Project a success giving a lot of people with
learning disabilities a life line to a regular social
club.

Mary Cawley |

Mary has been working with adults with learning
disabilities for over 25 years. She is a manager for
HFT which is a charity which provides homes and day
services for adults with learning disabilities. Mary
got involved with Friday night project 18 months ago
and has never looked back. Mary’s role in the group
is secretary.

Margaret Walker |
 |
|
Margaret has been our treasurer for 16 months and she
is a parent of one of the members of the Friday
Night Project. She has been a book keeper for over
25 years for the local pigeon club and was only too
happy to volunteer to do the books and accounts for
the project.

Kevin Evans |
 |
|
Kevin started out as a keen member of the Friday
Night Project and he is now a paid member of staff. His
role in the project is security and first aider. His
confidence has grown with the project over the last
few years and has proved to be a very diligent
worker to be an invaluable member of the team.

Liz Ellenor |

|
Liz has worked with adults with learning disabilities for
over 6 years, she has nvq3 in care. Her role in the
project is press relations and photographer. Liz has
been working with the project for over 2 years.

Katherine Young |
 |
|
Katherine Young is a keen member of the Friday
Night Project. She signs all cheques on behalf of the
Friday Night Project. She is one of our buyers when
we have a function on. Katherine is always on the
case helping do all the shopping and is always
happy to help out.

Mary and Tony Day |

|
Mary and Tony are a married couple who share the
task of collecting the entrance money at the Friday
Night Project. The couple have been with us from
day one and are always keen to see new members
come through the door.

Penny O'Donnell |
 |
|
Penny has been one of our fundraisers
for our team for over 2 years. She is a very keen member of the
team thinking of new ideas to bring in more funds. She has been
working with people with learning disabilities for over 15 years, and she
is a senior support worker in a residential home.

Anne Burns |
 |
|
Anne works in a residential home for 6 people
with learning disabilities. She has been working in this line of
work for over 20 years. She is an NVQ assessor for New Support Options.
She works voluntarily in our cafe and is one of our fundraisers.

Muriel Hadley |
 |
|
Muriel is one of our volunteers who help out in the
café and the Friday Night Project. She is always
there helping out with sandwiches and rolls and is
always on hand when needed with a wonderful
smile.

Diane Clementson |
 |
|
Diane is an area manager for New Support
Options. She is one of our biggest supporters and is
always on hand for advice and support.

Ted and Diane Moore |
 |
|
Ted and Diane have been teaching line dancing
for over 30 years. Well known in the community for their skills and
love for line dancing. Well loved by all the members of the Friday Night
Project.
